MHOA Connections

Connecting people before crisis begins.

At Motorheads of America, we believe crisis prevention starts long before someone reaches a point of crisis.

Loneliness and social isolation can have a profound impact on a person's mental and emotional well-being and are associated with an increased risk of depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. Sometimes, one of the most meaningful forms of prevention is simply making sure people have someone in their corner.

That is why we created MHOA Connections.

MHOA Connections is a community connections initiative designed to bring adults together, build meaningful relationships, and create a stronger sense of belonging within our community.

Through welcoming gatherings and opportunities for continued connection, we are creating a space where people can meet others, have real conversations, build friendships, and know they do not have to navigate life's difficult seasons alone.

You do not need to be experiencing a crisis to participate. You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or a reason to explain why you are there. Maybe you are feeling lonely. Maybe you are going through a difficult season. Maybe you are new to the community, have lost connections over the years, or simply wish you had more people to talk to.

Whatever brought you here, there is a seat for you.

MHOA Connections is about creating relationships before they are desperately needed, because a conversation, a friendship, or simply knowing someone cares can make a meaningful difference.

MHOA Connections is a community support and connection initiative and is not counseling, therapy, or a crisis response service.

Building relationships that matter. Connecting people before crisis begins.

Together, we are Making Hope Our Aim.
